Her path to BHRT and longevity medicine is deeply personal. During her third year of anesthesia residency, she experienced the loss of her first child at birth. Over time, she and her husband faced seven additional pregnancies and five miscarriages. Along the way, she struggled with mood swings, low energy, decreased libido, dryness, and significant weight fluctuations related to profound hormonal changes.
Despite drawing on her conventional medical background and making lifestyle changes, her symptoms persisted until she embraced a more comprehensive approach. By incorporating BHRT, peptides, and targeted supplements, she finally experienced meaningful restoration and healing.
That experience reshaped how she practices medicine. Dr. Guevara now approaches each patient with the same empathy, scientific grounding, and respect she wished for herself. She listens carefully, looks beyond surface symptoms, and works collaboratively to optimize health and longevity for both women and men.
Based in the Severna Park and Annapolis area and licensed for telehealth in several states, she offers both in-person and virtual care, helping patients feel like themselves again and move into the next decades of life with more energy, clarity, and confidence.
